Sandsbeach Competition Terms and Conditions

These rules apply to all prize promotions including free draws, prize competitions and instant win offers.

Unless stated otherwise in the literature accompanying the promotion, these terms and conditions apply to all prize promotions including free draws, prize competitions and instant win offers.

  1. Promotions are open to EU Residents and any other teritory or country where the competition entry resides.
  2. Prizes are non-transferable, non-negotiable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
  3. Sandsbeach the promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for another prize of equal value.
  4. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY to enter the competitions unless otherwise stated on the promotional activity with a specific competition.
  5. By entering the prize competition/prize draw, the entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material accompanying the promotion.
  6. By entering the promotion, the entrant agrees to the terms of the privacy policy.
  7. However, we always demand that those parties adhere to the same security procedures that we follow ourselves.
  8. When dates are specified for prizes they can not be altered. By entering any date related competition Sandsbeach are is not responsible for any winner who cannot attend. No cash alternative will be given.
  9. Winners will be notified by email on the day of the draw. Winners have 14 full days to respond in full to the email or another winner will be drawn.
  10. We may ask you to take part in publicity generated as a result of the promotion. If you are under 18 parental consent will be required for such publicity.
  11. Prize draws are open to all residents of the EU and any other teritory or country where the competition entry resides, except employees of Sandsbeach the promoter and their immediate families, the promoters advertising agency and sales promotion consultancy, and anyone else connected with the creation and administration of the promotion.
  12. The site's Editor's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Only one entry per person. Spammers will be disqualified.
  13. Sandsbeach will not accept responsibility for lost through technical fault, incomplete, illegible or other damaged entries. Proof of entry is not automatically proof of receipt.
  14. The promotional draws are held by Sandsbeach the promoter.

  16. All prizes are non transferable. We reserve the right in our sole discretion to substitute any and all prizes with prizes of a comparable value. Sandsbeach is not held liable for any late delivery, loss or damage to any prizes dispatched.

  17. If you are under 18 we may require the consent of a parent for you to enter a competition or to claim a prize. If the competition includes attending a specific venue we may require an adult to accompany you to such venue.


    Copyright Protection

    • The competition entrant who is author of a competition entry shall transfer onto the promoter (Sandsbeach) copyrights to use the entry for any purpose and in the fields of exploitation necessary to conduct the competition and to publish the competition results in the manner described in the Rules and Regulations.
    • By submitting an entry to the competition a competition entrant transfers onto the promoter(Sandsbeach) the right to use the entry for publication on the competition website,to integrate it on the Sandsbeach websites and in all press and internet publications, and to promote it as a Sandsbeach brand and company identity.

  18. Assignment of Intellectual Property Rights

    The competition entrant agrees that he or she including and any third party that he or she has requested assist them with the Sandsbeach logo design hereby assigns, transfers and conveys to Sandsbeach, or its designee, all of Sandsbeach worldwide right, title, and interest in and to any and all inventions, original works of authorship, findings, designs, software, conclusions, data, discoveries, developments, concepts, improvements, trade secrets, techniques, processes and know-how, whether or not patentable or registrable under copyright or similar laws, which the Competition entrant may solely or jointly conceive or develop or reduce to practice, or cause to be conceived or developed or reduced to practice, in the performance of the competition or which result, to any extent, from use of Sandsbeach property (collectively, the "Inventions"), including, without limitation, any and all intellectual property rights inherent in the Inventions and appurtenant thereto including, without limitation, all patent rights, copyrights, trademarks, know-how and trade secrets (collectively, "Intellectual Property Rights"). The competition entrant acknowledges and agrees that certain of the designs Inventions (whether made solely by the competition entrant or jointly with others) may be "works made for hire," as that term is defined in the EU and UK Copyright Act, and therefore The Company would be deemed the owner of such Inventions. For purposes of clarification, to the extent any Invention is not a "work made for hire," such Invention would be subject to the assignment in the first sentence of this Section 18.

  19. Internet

    The Promoter assumes no responsibility for technical, hardware or software failure of any kind, for lost network connections, garbled computer transmissions, other problems or technical malfunctions with regard to the promotion. If for any reason, programs are not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, and unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of The Promoter which corrupt or affect administration, security, fairness, integrity, or discretion, The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, corruption, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of entries. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail addressed to The Promoter on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to the participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this promotion. If for any reason your submission cannot be viewed or is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or technical failures, The Promoter assumes no responsibility.

  20. Copyright Infringment

    All entries must be original and your own work. By entering you hereby assert that nothing in your entry infringes on any copyrights or trademark, or other intellectual property right owned by any third party, or violates any person's rights of privacy or publicity. You agree to indemnify the Promoter(Sandsbeach) for all costs whether direct, indirect or consequential incurred by it due to your breach of this condition.

  21. Indemity

    In entering, entrants also agree to participate in related publicity and to the use of the finalists' names and likenesses for the purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity without additional compensation. By entering, participants release and hold harmless The Promoter, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability or injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in this contest or acceptance or use of any prize to the greatest extent as permitted by law.
